Bantwal: Cops nab 2 persons accused of knife attack after drinks & quarrel

Bantwal, 12 Feb 2022: Town police arrested 2 persons accused in a knife attack that ensued after a few drinks and quarrelling. The sleuths also extended the manhunt for other accused.

 

The arrested has been identified as Purushottam yane Purusha, resident of Kavalamudur, near here and Dhanush yane Dhananjay, a native of B Kasaba, near here.

The friends quarrelled over a silly matter that led to a knife attack. Two persons were injured in the incident that occurred near Bantwal bypass junction on February 9. 

 

As a result, a certain Kishore and Dayanand were injured and admitted in a hospital.

 

The police filed FIR against Sujit and Sachin, both natives of Arbigudde, near here, Danush and Purusha. A police team was formed at the leadership of Bantwal town SI Vivekanand that managed to nab the two accused on Friday, February 11.
