Udupi: Rotary Clubs offers platform for people interested in social service – Jagdish Kamat

Udupi, 11 Jul 2015: Rotary Club International that was founded before WWI and WWII to serve humanity and promote universal brotherhood offers a platform for all those broadminded people interested in social service, said Katpady Jagdish Kamat, deputy speaker of Rotary Club International 3180 IT Committee.
Kamat was speaking on Rotary Club International president K R Ravindran’s slogan – Be blessing to the world during the function organized by Rotary Club of Shirva at gram panchayat hall, Shirva, near here on Friday July 10.
Kamat briefed on the social welfare activities that can contribute for rural development in collaboration with Rotary Club International.
Rotary Club of Shirva past president dr N S Shetty presided the programme.
Rotary Club of Shirva former president Raghupati Ithal and lecturer Vittal Nayak were felicitated on the same occasion.
The senior member B Pundalika Marate introduced the dignitaries. The secretary Paul Aranha proposed vote of thanks.
