I see no problem in minorities getting converted to Hinduism : Muthalik
Mangaluru, 20 Dec 2014: Nathuram Godse, who killed Mahatma Gandhi was as patriot as Gandhiji, Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Muthalik said on Saturday, December 20.
He was talking to the reporters after appearing in the second JMFC court here in connection with the 2009 pub attack case.
Nathuram Godse was also a patriot and it is very much evident in his autobiography and history books. I do not want to comment on the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, he said adding that the ones who called Godse a traitor were fools.
Speaking about the pub and the church attack case, Muthalik slammed Congress stating that the shelved cases were being re-opened by the Congress government due to its anti-Hindu policies.
“I am ready to face it,” he said.
Muthalik justified the mass conversion act by Bajrang Dal and other saffron outfits in Agra saying that the innocent Hindus were converted into Islam and Christianity and now they are re-converted to Hindutva. He said that the government doesn’t have any issue while the Hindus were being converted, however controversies spark when minorities are converted into Hinduism.
He also opined that there should not be any hesitancy in going back to the religion that the Christians and Muslims in India once belonged to.
