Bharati Builder shoot-out case; Police nab key accomplice

Mangalore, Jul 8, 2014 : The District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) policemen on Tuesday July 8 arrested yet another accused related to shootout incident at Bharati Builder’s office.

 

The arrested has been identified as Vikas Balasu Chawan, a native of Karad – Chacchegaon, Maharashtra state. 

 

 

Vikas was accomplice of Ganesh Laxman Saketh who fired at Bharati Builder.  Ganesh is already in police custody along with other accomplices Mukesh Shivaji Kamble, Datta alias Dattatreya Tukaram Wagle, Kamal Singh Rajput and Hitesh Haleyangady. 

 

The operation was carried out at the instruction of city police commissioner Hitendra, assistant commissioner K V Jagdish and N Vishnuvardhan, by DCIB sub-inspector Shyamsundar and police personnel.
