Udupi: Girl goes missing, kidnap suspected

 

Udupi, 14 Aug 2013: The mysterious disappearance of a seventeen year old girl in middle of the night has raised suspicion that she might have been kidnapped.

 

The girl identified as Shabam is daughter of  Umar and Hajira of Belapu. On August 11, Shabnam who was at her grandmother’s house is said to have eaten her dinner and gone to bed at 10 p.m. But around 2.30 a.m she is said to have gone missing.

 

It has also been found that Umar’s elder sister’s son Harshad has also gone missing, thus it has been suspected he might have kidnapped her.

 

Shirva Police Station have registered a case. Umar in his complaint has stated that his daughter has gone missing and might have been kidnapped.
