Bhatkal: Dead snake found in tetra juice pack

Karwar, 06 Jun 2012: A six inch long dead snake was allegedly found in a 200 ml tetra pack of Maa mango fruit juice pack to a consumer in Bhatkal, about 120 kms from here on Wednesday.
Two persons who had consumed the juice were admitted to the hospital after they felt uneasy.
According to the sources Sayyad Mohammad Safwan of Good Luck road in Bhatkal had bought some tetra packs of the juice for consumption. When his sister was drinking the juice by using the straw, she felt some problem in sipping the juice. Sayyad’s mother also tried to sip the juice with help of straw. She grew suspicious and opened the packet and to her horror, she found a small dead snake in it. It was about six inches long. The mother and sister of Sayyad were shifted to the hospital after they felt fain and began vomiting.
The local people immediately informed the shop owner about this and he in turn has informed the manufacturers.

It is false rumour,the person without knowledge on beverage manufacturing can do this activity.Tetra pack is aseptic packing.Before filling juice sterilize 100 degree centigrade.this process contain electromagnatic filters can t allow any foreign matter.no one can believe this story. |
