Udupi, 13 March 2012: The election commission has come out with a new idea to identify the voter for the by-poll election this time. In this method no one can duplicate another voter or some one else than actual voter or illegible voter. In the previous election system the party people used to give a small note to identify the voter.
In the old system, any one could vote could some one else. In the new system introduced by Election commission, there is no possibility of voting for some one else. Also it has become impossible all the party leaders/workers to visit each and every house to distribute notes/chitti and voters are also happy that no head-ache from party workers this time.
However, one must see how far this new method is helpful. This note has been distributed on government expenses. This arrangement has been done with school teachers.
