Uchila: Scolarship distributed by Charitable Trust

Uchila, 23 June 2011: Brahma Shree Narayanaguru Swami Billava Seva Charitable Trust, Billava Seva Sangha and Billava Mahila Mandali, jointly organized the distribution of scholarship to the talented students of Uchila Badagrama, Mulur and Yermal areas. Under the leadership of Sooru C. Karkera - President of Uchila Billava Seva Trust who is also the sponsor of the program, total 150 students of various communities were given total rupees 70 thousands financial scholarship.

 

 

Uchila Billava Mahila Mandala President Shobha Lakshmana Salyan, NRI Rathnakara Kotyan, Uchila Saraswathi Vidya Sansthe retired Headmaster Annayya Poojary, Billava Sangha Mumbai Branch former President Raghu K. Amin, were present on the occasion.

 
On behalf of the scholarship receivers Sukshma R. Shetty and Aynika Joylene Soans expressed their thoughts. On behalf of the Parents Savithri Jogi appreciated the Trust President for their social work and also mentioned their financial help for her medical expenses and praised the trust for providing scholarship to the students of all religions, without seeing cast or creed.
 

Uchila Billava Sangha President Ganesh D. Amin welcomed. Annayya Poojary gave introductory speech. Treasurer Dananjaya Amin proposed vote of thanks. Anil Kumar compeered the program.
