Udupi: MLC Murder Conspiracy – No much progress so far

Udupi, 04 June 2011: The secret behind the conspiracy to murder of Kota Shrinivasa Poojary is still not known and so far there is no sign of any secret being revealed and no such sign from police either. On Thursday Bashir and Raghavendra Mogaveera who were waiting near the residence of Kota Shrinivasa Poojary and were arrested by police. Bashir has been issued judicial custody and Raghavendra has been given police custody for 2 days.

On Friday Police have visited the residence of Raghavendra in Hosanagara and searched. They found a cloth face mask and a sim card as the evidence, which has been taken into custody. But the Police could not extract from Raghavendra so far that who gave the supari and what was the purpose, said Brahmavara Circle Inspector Krishnamurthy. Once the Police custody expires on Friday, Raghavendra will be again presented before the court.    

 
The other two accused in this conspiracy; Santhosh Poojary is in Udupi Jail and Raghavendra Poojary is in Belgaum Jail. As per the instructions from these two; Bashir and Raghavendra Mogaveera have attempted for the murder. But who is behind these four accused and why Kota Shrinivasa Poojary who has no any controversy became the target, is being discussed among the public in the last two days.
 

In between on Thursday a team lead by BJP Jilla President Udaykumar Shetty secretly met S.P. Dr. Ravi Kumar and discussed the issue. But still the purpose of this conspiracy is not yet known.
