Udupi: MLC Murder Conspiracy – News Follow up

Udupi, 03 June 2011: So far the police could not succeed in extracting the reason for the murder conspiracy and the details of the persons behind this conspiracy, from the two accused who were arrested for the conspiracy to murder MLC Kota Shrinivasa Poojary. On Wednesday these accused had come to the premises of Kota Shrinivasa Poojary residence with the intention to kill him with sword and waiting for him to move around alone. These accused Kundapura Basheer and Shivmoga Raghavendra Mogaveera are with previous history of crime, had come on bike. Receiving the information the police arrived to the scene and arrested them.

Both of them were presented before the Udupi District court, Bashir received judicial custody. As per the request by police for further investigation, Raghvendra was given police custody. But so far Raghavendra has not revealed that who is behind this conspiracy and what is the purpose behind it, said investigating Officer Kota Police Station S.I. Mahesh Prasad.

 

Since he will be in police custody only for one day, there is possibility for extracting the secret on this day itself. The other two accused; Santhosh Poojary from Udupi is in Udupi jail for earlier crimes and Raghavendra Poojary is in Belgaum jail. Raghvendra Mogaveera and Bashir were criminals in earlier crimes and were out on bail. Now it is curious that how these four made the conspiracy. It can be confirmed with this that there is a 5th person in this who has contacted all the four and built the conspiracy. The question before the public is whether the police can crack this mystery.

 

Udupi: MLC Murder Conspiracy – Full of Controversies

 

Udupi, 03 June 2011: Murder conspiracy of Member of Legislative Council Kota Srinivasa Poojary, the arrest of two suspects, information given by the police and the information at the Udupi District Police Department Exclusive blog have all caused controversies. The main accused; Santhosh Poojary is in udupi Jail and Raghavendra Poojary is in Belgaum Jail.

 

Making a conspiracy being in different jails, both being in jail but meeting Bashir and Raghavendra Mogaveera who are out on bail, and conspiracy to kill Kota Shrinivasa Poojary who do not have any controversy, wealth, disputable contracts, and also the accused moving around near his house, all these have caused many doubts.

 

 

 

The news of the conspiracy of the MLC was put in the Police blog after 09.30 pm on Wednesday night. The news was so accurate that there were no errors like usually it used to be in the Police news. It was not in the police style of draft, but was neat like written by a reporter just for editor to edit it. That means many of the reporters were in doubt that this report was not written by Police.

 

In this news report it was written that the accused have been presented before the court and both have been issued judicial custody. But when asked with the police, they said that they were not presented, they said. On Thursday at 10.00 am the blog was updated and in that it was written that four accused have been arrested.

 

When asked to Kota Sub Inspector, he expressed surprise. He confirmed that two of the accused were outside the jail and have been arrested, among them Bashir has got judicial custody and Raghavendra Mogaveera has got Police custody, he said. After this about 10 - 15 minutes later the news report in the blog was revised. It was published that the arrested are only two; Bashir and Raghavendra. Again in another 5 – 10 minutes the news itself was disappeared from the blog!

 

All these causes to assume that there is a big undeclared secret behind the murder conspiracy of Kota Shrinivasa Poojary. To support this assumption, even after two days of the arrest, the Police were unable to extract from the arrested accused that what is the reason behind the conspiracy and who had given the supari. Accused Raghavendra Mogaveera will be in Police custody at least on Thursday, it is to be waited and watched whether he will reveal any secret of the conspiracy.
