Kaup: Uniforms distributed to Karandadi School Students

Kaup, 19 July 2011: Uniforms distributed to Karandadi school students by Kaup Dharani Samaja Seva Sangha in a function held at Karandadi Shrirama Private Aided School in Majuru Grama. Uniforms costing about rupees 25 thousands were distributed. Dharani Seva Samsthe President Karandadi Leeladhara Shetty spoke on the occasion and said that from many years the Samsthe is involved in the social work, also in future it will continue to do so.
 

 
JDS leader Vasudeva Rao, Jeevan Prakash Shetty, Jayaram Hegde, School Headmaster Nirmal Kumar Hegde and Ravindra Shetty were present on the occasion.

 
Belapu: Bicycles distributed to High School Students 

 
Belapu, 19 July 2011: Bicycles were distributed to total 36 students of 8th and 9th standard of Belapu Jilla Panchayath High School under government scheme. Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon participated in the distribution ceremony. Upon distribution at the Ambedkar Bhavana he said that, the state government is spending about Rs. 11,000 on each student of the government schools per year, which includes free books, uniforms, cycle and computers. He asked the students to make use of the facility provided.
 

 
The program was presided over by Belapu Grama Panchayath President Deviprasad Shetty. Jilla Panchayath member Arun Shetty Paduru, Taluk Panchayath member Kesari, School Teacher Shankara Suvarna, Headmaster P. M. Ramakrishna and Prakash Poojary were also present on the occasion.
