New Delhi : Mangalorean Cresilla Lobo Shines at Young Managers Contest

New Delhi, 04 Sep, 2013 : Mangalorean Cresilla Jasmine Lobo (nee Monteiro) won first runner up at the 39th National Competition for Young Managers held at Hotel Sheraton, Saket, here recently. This event was organized by All India Management Association. Nearly 171 teams from 4 zones of New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata participated in the contest.
Earlier, Cresilla and her team comprised Rohit Chaudhary and Adarsh Kudupu (another contestant from Mangalore) contested in the Mumbai zone winning the first place during July.
She was then qualified to the finals with seven other best corporate teams to win the runners trophy at the grand finale. Cresilla represented M/s Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Bangalore where she is currently working as project manager for the technical writing team.
The team had to submit their essays on the topics, Inspired leadership for Turbulent Times and the Power of Youth.’ On selection, the team was expected to make a 15 minute presentation followed by 15 minute Question and Answer session. This also included a Calliper test that the contestants were expected to render in. Esteemed Judges from the corporate fraternity graced the occasion.
Cresilla is the grand daughter of the late Cyril Monteiro and B M D’Souza, Valencia, Mangalore.
She is the daughter of the late Clifford Monteiro and Noreen Monteiro.
Cresilla lives in Bangalore along with her husband Maxim Lobo and little daughter Erika Lobo. She has a younger brother Nitesh Monteiro who lives with his family in Dubai.
Cresilla served as secretary for Kanara Catholic Association, Bangalore and has also actively participated in many of their events. Her hobbies vary from poetry, dance, dramatics, recitation, compeering and creative writing.
