Pamboor Parish Priest Fr Paul Rego celebrates 50th Birthday

Udupi, 07 Jun 2014: Fr Paul Rego, parish priest of Holy Cross parish, Pamboor, near here celebrated his fiftieth birthday on Friday June 6 evening.

 

Earlier Fr Paul celebrated the thanksgiving Holy Mass along with Fr Henry Alva, Fr Nicholas Martis and Fr Louis D’Sa.  A large number of parishioners attended the Holy Mass.

 

The parish council organized the felicitation programme led by vice president Prakash Noronha and secretary Assumptha D’Souza after the Holy Mass.

 

 

Fr Paul along with his mother and sisters expressed his joy by cutting the exuberant cake.

 

Fr Henry Alva congratulated Fr Paul on behalf of the parishioners and wished him good health and success in his mission.

 

Prakash Noronha and Assumptha D’Souza presented the felicitation letter, while Gurkars’ of 14 wards of parish, heads of ICYM, YCS, Catholic Sabha, Ladies Sodalities presented the floral bouquets.

 

Fr Paul thanked the parishioners who turned up in large numbers and also sought the support for the upcoming jubilee projects.

 

Prakash Noronha proposed the vote of thanks.  Saritha Alva compered the programme.

 

The cake, snacks and coffee was served to all who were present on the occasion.
