Udupi, 12 Feb 2014: Janardhan Poojary, Congress veteran leader served as union finance minister who faced thrice defeat in the parliamentary elections, but strives for betterment of society, a great leader of Billawa community and follower of Rajeev Gandhi is likely to face a major political upheaval.
The handiworks of the union energy minister Veerappa Moily have been trying to defunct the political career of Janardhan Poojary with Congress high command in New Delhi and AICC. Moily has been trying to put his son Harsha Moily’s candidature to contest in the forthcoming parliamentary elections from Mangalore.
If in case, Congress high command denies party ticket to Janardhan Poojary; his followers in Billawa community will finish the prospect of Congress in the coastal district. It sees Veerappa Moily is not aware that he will be directly responsible for this. Congress party reigned supremacy owing to Billawa community’s unconditional support for all these years in the coastal district. The voters of Billawa community are significant in numbers who could play decisive role in winning any candidate.
It’s essential that if Congress party wants to win its candidate in coastal district, it has to issue party ticket to Janardhan Poojary to contest in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
