Mangalore: Milagres PU College organizes Annual Sports Day

 Mangalore, 20 Nov 2013:  Milagres Pre-University College organized their annual sports day here on Tuesday November 19.

The Chief Guest was received and escorted to the venue by the NCC cadets and the Primary School Band set with a Royal Salute.

The day’s programme started with a prayer followed by welcome.

The event was presided by Milagres group of education institutions correspondent Fr Valerian D’Souza.

Milagres Pre-University College lecturer John Pais, vice principal Avith Barboza and The headmistress Agnes Colaco were present at the dais.

The President received the grand salute from the march past groups and the various houses.

 

 

The set of events held were tracks, jumps, throws and short put.

 

Milagres Institution has a pool of talented students who are winners in every field, and many of them are national level athletes.
