Mumbai: Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan organizes first ever Annual Sports Meet

Mumbai, 14 Nov 2013: Karnataka Sangh of central suburban Kalyan organized a sports meet for the first time at Yashwantrao stadium located at Santoshimata Road, Kalyan (West) here on Sunday November 10.
Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan patron and key advisor Jasmine Group of Companies managing director Surendra Shetty addressed the athletes to relive their sports spirit.
The local resident Sanjay Patil who secured permission from municipal body to hold the sports meet at the stadium offered motion for sports meet by releasing the balloons.
Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan founder president Nanda Shetty also present on the occasion.
Holy Cross Convent School physical training teachers Pachpore and Praveen, Century Rayon School physical training teachers Gundre and Sachin Marate, sportsmen and members Simon and Bhoja Shetty conducted the competitions.
The relentless efforts of sports Committee president Geetha Poojary, Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan president T S Upadhyaya, vice president Gopal Hegde, honorary secretary Subraya Hegde, women wing president Darshana Sonakar contributed for the success of first ever sports meet of Karnataka Sangh – Kalyan.
The members contributed their mite towards meeting the expenses in organizing the sports meet.
