Udupi: Swami Sugundra graces Installation Ceremony of JCI – Kaup

Udupi, 10 Nov 2013: The installation ceremony of new office bearers of Jaycees Club International (JCI) – Kaup was held here on Saturday November 9.

 
Swami Sugunendra of Puttige mutt graced the occasion.

 
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Sugunendra said that JCI is world renowned organization striving for the personality development of youth.  Its social welfare and humanitarian activities are worthy to be emulated by other organizations engaged in similar tasks, said Swami Sugunendra.

 
JCI – Kaup outgoing president Rakesh Kunjoor handed over the charge to new president Anil Kumar, Jayceeret outgoing president Soumya Rakesh handed over the charge to new president Soumya Anil, youth JCI president Shravan.

 

 
Guruprasad Shetty, a driver working in state-run CDPO who rescued 2 kids drowned in a lake at Katpady, near here, a month ago and outgoing JCI president Rakesh Kunjoor were felicitated on the same occasion.

 
JCI former zonal president Uday Kumar Shetty Inna, Kaup – Billawar Sangh president Madhav Palan, JCI zonal president Chandrashekar Nair, zonal vice president Mangesh Shanbagh conveyed best wishes.

 
JCI – Kaup past president Shivanna Bayar was also present.

 
Rakesh Kunjoor welcomed the gathering.  Anil Kumar delivered the introductory address.  The new secretary Sandeep Shetty Kalya proposed vote of thanks.
