Bangalore: Soujanya Case - CID Report submitted to State Govt

Bangalore, 01 Nov 2013: CID officers submitted the report related to Ujire college student Soujanya’s rape and murder case with the state government. CID officers arrived at the conclusion that the accused is Santosh Kumar in their 12-page report.
CID officers arrived at the conclusion based on questioning 12 witnesses. The officers stated that Nischal Jain – the nephew of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadikari Veerendra Heggade, who was accused in the case, was not in India when the crime took place. There were no eyewitnesses to prove the role of other accused Dhiraj Kellady and Uday Jain. CID officers allege Santosh had committed the crime.
Santosh had confessed of his crime when he was arrested by the police. The medical report stated that Soujanya was not gang-raped. There were scratches on the breast of Soujanya, stated CID report submitted to the state chief secretary.
