Bantwal: Kevin Misquit Musical Concert Rocks Loretto

Bantwal, 25 Oct 2013: The up and coming Konkani singer Kevin Misquit and his band Milestone presented a music concert at Loretto parish auditorium, here recently.

 

The concert was organized by Bantwal deanery Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) in order to mobilize funds for their activities. 

 

ICYM Bantwal deanery president Alwyn Agrar welcomed the gathering while Wilson Bambil compered the programme.

 

Kevin Misquith with his group of young and prolific performers performed their music concert. Kevin’s super hit numbers -  Mhoeja Anja, Kenna Kenna, Hee Jeenn, Kalza Thar, Kaliz Bullam and  also songs - Heyo Heyo, Tu Munon, Thembe Thembe,  Pavlle  and other songs.

 

 

The musicians Ashwin Sequeria, Clement Fernandes, Royston Pinto, Munita Veigas and Kevin sang the beautiful numbers mesmerizing the crowd, while Jackson Noronha, Clyde Lobo, Sanjeeth Rodrigues, Rikith Soans and Ashwin scored the background music.

 

‘Pokri Kalakars,’ a comedy group enthralled the audiences with jokes and mimicry

 The young dancers of Bantwal deanery accompanied the singers during the performances.

 

Mangalore diocesan ICYM president Sheldon Crasta compered the concert.

 

Fr Benjamin Pinto, key sponsor Pius Rodrigues Agrar, Fr Ronald D’Souza, ICYM Bantwal deanery secretary Anisha Frank, Bantwal deanery vicar Fr Maxim Noronha, Loretto parish priest Fr Oswald Lasrado and others were present at the dais.

 

The audiences were enthralled with unique and an innovative music concert compared to regular Konkani musical Nites.
