Udupi: ICYM Pamboor celebrates 35th Anniversary with Kevin Misquith & Milestone Live in Concert

Udupi, 3 Feb 2014 : The ICYM Unit of the Holy Cross Church, Pamboor celebrated 35th Anniversary in grandeur by presenting Kevin Miquith and Milestone Live in Concert on Sundat 2 February 2014 at 6 pm in the church premises. Rev. Fr. Alban D’Souza-Parish Priest of Stell Maris Church, Kalmady and ICYM Director of the Udupi Varado was the chief guest. Rev. Fr. Paul Rego-Parish Priest of Pamboor presided over the inaugural programme.
Josil Noronha-President of the ICYM Unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. Prizes to the winners of various events organized by the ICYM were distributed by the chief guest.
Jeevan Fernandes, ICYM member proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compeered by Ashwini Barboza and Glen Mathias. Lynette D’Souza-Secretary of the ICYM was also on the dais.
It was 28th show of the Kevin Nite which was appreciated by one and all for the melodious singing presented by the singers and musicians.

| Belle youth are busy in cricket, petty politics and street side gossip. Also they do not have proper guidance from the top. All are sleeping ..... do not wake them up. Sleep is important for the healthy society | |

| Good job ICYM Pamboor. You proved again that you are always no.1 in Udupi Diocese. No matter the if the church is small or big, one priest or many priests, rich or poor, limited families or many families, at the end what important is that the courage, dedication, commitment along with the encouragement from the priest and this is what exactly we see in Pamboor. No doubt our neighboring Churches Pamboor Kuntalnagar are blessed with very dynamic priests where they believe, encourage and motivate the youths and this is what at the end the youth deliver. Keep it Guys we are all proud of you. Most of the youths we see them busy either on facebook or whatsapp or chitchatting with their B/G grinds. The involvement in social activities become very less and this is not a good sign for the future. | |

| Wonderful job by ICYM Pamboor unit. It shows you are capable to handle big events. ICYM Pamboor should be the role model for all churches in Udupi district. In the recent past they have organized several events and all of them are unique. Also the Pamboor church is leading all the parishes by supporting local culture and art. Several big events are organised on the grounds of Pamboor church recently which shows the support to local organizers. Other ICYM units and particularly Belle ICYM should learn a lot from Pamboor unit. Instead of petty politics and ego, please focus on development and positiveness. You will not get these days back, make use of it | |
