M’lore: Save Netravati River Committee Garners Public Support against Proposed State Project

Mangalore, 2 Oct 2013: Save Netravati River Committee that was formed to stage struggle against the ambitious project - diversion of Lifeline River that is meeting drinking water supply and irrigation of huge hectares of farmlands in undivided Dakshina Kannada (DK) district since several centuries, held a protest rally from Dr B R Ambedkar roundabout, Balmatta up till the main gate of DK district Deputy Commissioner’s office, here on Wednesday October 3 morning.

 

 

The several activists of Save Netravati River Committee including coastal residents who are concerned of future of DK partaken in the massive protest rally on the occasion.
