Konkani Seva Mandal, Goregaon celebrates Monti Fest

Mumbai, 19 Sep 2013 : Konkani Seva Mandal, Goregaon celebrated its 7th Monti Fest on 15 Sep 2013 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Goregaon West.
Monti Fest Konkani mass was celebrated by FR. RICHARD CRASTO at 7.00am. The cultural programme started at 11.30am with a Novena, showering of flowers followed by the procession singing the traditional Konkani hymns. Ms. Genevieve Correa gave an welcome address. Novem with milk was distributed.
Children presented welcome dance and chandamama dance. Sannora Correa and Mr. Inacio presented Konkani songs. A comedy skit was presented by the members. Fr. Richard Crasto was the chief guest of the programme. The cultural programme was concluded with the prayer by Mrs. Benedicta Saldanha. The programme ended with the Novem Jevon.
