Kuwait: Indian Expats Bid Adieu to Ambassador Satischandra

Kuwait, 17 Sep 2013: Indian Cultural Society and NRI Forum jointly organized a farewell function for Indian Ambassador Satischandra Mehta at Caesars Restaurant here recently.
Indian Cultural Society president Ashfaq and NRI Forum president B P Pinto welcomed Ambassador Satischandra and his wife at the venue.
Ashfaq Ahmed Khan in his address said that the different Indian communities in Kuwait are grateful for Ambassador Satischandra in addressing their grievances and promoting cultural activities among multi national expats, besides diplomatic relations between India and State of Kuwait, said Ashfaq.
Ambassador Satischandra expressed gratitude to Indian community for their co-operation in carrying out his diplomatic mission in State of Kuwait. He also felt emotional to exit from the oil rich gulf country. He urged the Indian expats to respect the laws of host country at all times, urged Ambassador Satischandra.
B P Pinto proposed vote of thanks, followed by lunch at Caesars Restaurant.
The prominent among Indian expats including Lawrence D’Souza and his son were present to bid adieu to Ambassador Satischandra and his wife on the occasion. It was indeed a memorable day for the Indian expats in Kuwait.
