Kuwait: ICS to present Bolo Ta Ra Ra Ra with Daler Mehendi on Sep 5

Kuwait, 25 Aug 2014: Indian Cultural Society (ICS), pioneer for socio cultural quality entertainment and producer of regular hit shows, to present ‘Bolo Tata Ra Ra at auditorium - Dahiya Handball indoor stadium, second Ring Road, beside Fencing Club, Dahiya, here with India’s pioneer Indi-Pop prolific singer, musician, composer, performer, an entertainer par excellence who continues to defy the standards and re-invent his music, none other than Daler Mehndi, on Friday September 5 at 7.00pm.
ICS always tries to bridge cultures and to keep the community happy by bringing together renowned artistes on one stage. Their last presentation was ‘Kaifi Aur Main’ with legendary Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi was a huge success.

He inherited a legacy of music from his family, is endowed with versatile power-pitched vocals and a dynamic spirit. He is well known as a philanthropist, funding beautification projects in Delhi and aiding earthquake victims. Great music director, composer and singer from his humble folkie yet celebrated debut with ‘Bolo Ta Ra Ra Ra’ to the glitter and glamor of ‘Balle Balle’, from tnternet phenomenon ‘Tunak Tunak’ to the elegance of ‘Ru-Ba-Ru’, from patriotic ‘Rang De Basanti’ to the mysticism of sufi ‘Bismillah’, his music exemplifies the aesthetics. Conferred as ‘Sultan of Swing’, ‘Pasha of Pop’, ‘Sardar of Swing’, ‘The King of Bhangra-Pop’, Mehndi’s route map to musical monarchy is well-trodden.
The ‘Powerhouse Performer’, Mehndi’s high voltage performances, packaged with exquisite choreography and always dressed in signature self-designed Maharaja robes, bejeweled turban and jewellery, his snappy fashion and eye-catching outfits have earned him Elle magazine’s "Most Stylish Person in Music" award. The beat of bhangra, pioneered by Badshah of Bhangra, Daler Mehndi, since his advent on the Indian music scenarios in 1995, eclipsed all other categories of music to emerge leader among music audiences. He sung in Telgu ‘Banthi Poola Janaki’ for ‘Baadshah,’ Rubberu Gajulu for Telugu film ‘Yamadonga’ and Jorsey for ‘Magadheera,’ Om Zaarare for Tamil film Kuselan. Daler Mehndi has come out with a new track titled ‘Stop the Fight-lakhon hue fanaah’ especially for his fans on World Music Day.
