Udupi: Seminar in memory of late Mr and Mrs. J.M. Rodrigues former teachers held at Shankerpura

Udupi, 06 Sep 2013: A seminar in memory of late J.M. Rodrigues and late Scolastica Rodrigues, former teachers of St. john’s Primary School, Shankerpura was held on  Friday 6th September 2013 jointly by the Rotary Club of Shankerpura and Inner wheel Club of Shankerpura in association with Educational Board Udupi Zone and  Udupi District Kannada Sahitya Parishath.

 

 

The seminar was inaugurated by Mrs Judith Martis ( D/o. Late J.M & Scolastica Rodrigues). The  Chief Guest of the seminar was Rtn. Madhava Suvarna (Asst. Governor , Zone 3, Rotary District 3180). Dr. T. Ramesh U. Pai of Human Development Centre Udupi was the resource person.

 

In the evening, the closing ceremony was organized during which the Chief Guest  was  C. Upendra Somayaji ( Retd Teacher, President Kannada Sahitya Parishath Udupi Taluk ). On this occasion  I. Shrinivasa Shanubag, Retired Teacher of Innanje school and  Kum. Matilda Lobo, Retiredd Teacher from Shankerpura school were honoured.
