Udupi: Preparatory Meeting on State-Level Girls’ NSS Camp Held at Moodubelle College

Udupi, 03 Sep, 2013 : The preliminary meeting was held on Monday September 2, to organize state level NSS girls’ camp at St Lawrence Pre-University College, Moodubelle, near here from November 5 to November 11.

 

 

St Lawrence Group of education institutions correspondent Fr Joswey Fernandes presided the meeting here on Monday morning.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Joswey said that they were opportune to host state level NSS camp that would enhance the all round development of camp participants and also sought the co-operation in making success of the camp. 

 

Udupi district pre-university education deputy director S S Shinda said that the department extends all the assistance for the camp that is being organized in Udupi district ranks first in Karnataka, said Shinda.  He also commended the efforts of the College for its early preparations.

 

ZP former president Devdas Hebbar, Brahmavar – S M S Pre-University College principal Salvador Noronha, Malpe – Government Pre-University College principal Meti Mediyappa, St Lawrence Group chief Sylvester Mathias, Fr P Raj, Professor Sarita D’Souza, Moodubelle parish council vice president A K Alva were present on the occasion.

 

The College principal Fr Paul Sequeira welcomed the gathering.  The lecturer Shyamala proposed vote of thanks.  NSS project officer Edward Larsen delivered the introductory address.  The lecturer Jacinta Lobo compered the programme.
