M’lore: Divine Word TV Channel Begins Telecasting Carmel Kiran Programme Daily at 7.00am & 7.0

Mangalore, 31 Aug 2013: St Aloysius College principal Fr Swebert D’Souza inaugurated Carmel Kiran -the TV programme after novena Holy Mass in honour of Infant Jesus at the Shrine, Bikarnakatte, here on Thursday August 29 at 10.30am.   
Fr Swebert D’Souza SJ inaugurated the programme by switching on the remote.

The title song played and the trailer of the programme was telecast.

Fr Swebert acknowledged the efforts and commitment of the Carmelites to spread the Word of God, especially through the Infant Jesus Shrine where so many devotees receive the blessings and graces of Infant Jesus.

Divine Word TV channel founder Steven Mendes was the chief guest of the occasion.

 

Steven expressed his happiness in having this programme telecast on his channel. He stated that it is a quality programme that will enhance the quality and viewership of the Divine Word channel, because it is based on the Scriptures and Christian values, and is a witness to the fruitful ministry of the Carmelites in the service of God.

Stany compered the programme, while Fr Stephen Pereira OCD, editor of Carmel Kiran proposed vote of thanks.
