ICYM to organise Talent Search Day on 8 September 2010

Moodubelle, 11 August 2010: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) will be organising Talent Search programme in the evening of 8 September 2010 in various categories of performing arts such as skit, dance, music, mimicry and singing. The competition will be among the groups for group prize. Individual prizes will also be awarded  in various categories.

The parishioners of Moodubelle can form groups comprising of minimum 8 and maximum 15 members irrespective of age or ward. Each group will be given 20 minutes during which the group is  required to present at least two items. Out of these items, except compeering, one item should be in Konkani.

Prizes for groups on the basis of points scored will be:

First Prize: Rs.2000 plus a trophy; Second Prize: Rs. 1500 plus a trophy and Third Prize:Rs 1000 plus a trophy.

Individual prizes and trophies will be awarded for male and female competitors separately in the following categories:

Best MC 2010, Best actor, Best Entertainer, Best dancer and Best Singer

A meeting will be held on Sunday 15 August 2010 at 4.30 pm in the Parish Hall to decide about the criteria for prizes and other rules and regulations for the Talent Search programme.

The last date for submitting the names of the participants in the Talent Search to the Parish office will be 22 August 2010.
