Padayatris closer to their target on fourteenth day of their march

09 August 2010: The Congress padayatris on their long march since fourteen days are steadily inching closer to their target-Bellary the centre of controversial mining scam. The attempt to higlight the illegal mining through the long march has given an opportunity to the Congress party in Karnataka to galvanize the otherwise inactive congress grassroot workers from different parts of the state who have joined the padayatri leaders. There has been a lot of curiosity and enthusiasm from common people as well. Congress party in Karnataka feels that this is the best opportunity they have to mobilise the people of Karnataka in view of the next state assembly elections.
