Bantwal: Devotees throng Karinja, Sadasiva Temple, Narahariparvata on Aati Amavasya

Bantwal, 6 Aug 2013:  The devotees from all over the taluk flocked to  Karinjeshwara and Sadashiva Temples at Narahariparvatha, on Tuesday August 6 morning, on the occasion of Aati Amavasya and took a holy-dip in the sacred pond of 2 temples.


 
The devotees queued up to pay their obeisance to the Lord and sought his graces.


 
A few newly-wed couples also visited the temple to offer their prayers.

 
 
The devotees have arrived at the temple as early as 4.00am on Tuesday.

 


 
Some devotees also symbolically offered coir-ropes to get cure from asthma.


 
KSRTC arranged special bus services to ferry the devotees from city point to temple premises.


 
Dakshina Kannada district BJP president K Padmanabha Kottari, Dr Prashanth Marla, temple Committee members and others were present on the occasion.
