Udupi: Vinay Kumar Sorake & Pramod Madwaraj commit to Donate Rs 10,000 per Month to Manasa - Pamboor

Udupi, 3 Jul 2013: ‘The service to mentally children is the service to God. So, from this month I will give Rs 10,000 every month from my salary to Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor,’ said the state minister for urban development and Udupi district-in-charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake.

‘Since the past 2 years I am donating Rs 10,000 to Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor and I will continue to give till God gives me strength to give,’ said Udupi MLA Pramod Madwaraj.

Both minister Vinay Kumar Sorake and MLA Pramod Madwaraj visited Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Pamboor near here on Monday July 1 and interacted with children, staff and trustees of Manasa. 

 

The minister Vinay Kumar Sorake was felicitated by Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul Rego and MLA Pramod was felicitated by Elroy Kiran Crasto, president of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh.

Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre managing trustee Remedia D Souza briefed on the activities that are undertaken by the Centre.

The Centre vice president Alphose D Costa, secretary Dr Gerald Pinto, joint secretary Allan D Souza, trustees Vincent Alva and Cyril Quadras , president elect of catholic sabha William Machado were present.

The principal Sr Thelma proposed vote of thanks.   The teacher Muriel Premalatha compered the programme.
