Mumbai: Chembur Challengers Bags DPL Trophy, Devadiga Brothers City Region Runner Up

Mumbai, 13 Jun 2013: The metro based Devadiga Sangh organized Devadiga Premier League (DPL) cricket tournament here recently. 

Chembur Challengers team for the successive third time bagged the DPL trophy, while Devadiga Brothers City Region was the runner up.

 

Altogether 7 teams including Mumbai Blazing Nites, Dombivali Royals, Bhandup Blasters, Asalfa Warriers, Devadiga Brothers City Region, Jogeshwari Tough Fighters, Chembur Challengers competed in DPL tourney.

Devadiga community veteran Ramanna Devadiga and Raghu Moily inaugurated the tourney.

Devadiga Sangh – youth unit president Shailesh Devadiga was present.

Devadiga community veterans Girish K Devadiga, Bhaskar Sriyan and Satish Kanwateerta presented the trouphy.

Prashant Devadiga of Brothers – City Region team adjudged top batsman and Sudhir Devadiga of same team adjudged top bowler.
