Bangalore, 4 Jun 2013: The opposition parties criticized the Governor’s speech that has highlighted the corruption of the former BJP-led state administration rather than laying emphasis on progressive path that is being required to be treaded by CM Siddaramaiah which amounts to revengeful politics.
Addressing the media persons after Governor Bharadwaj’s speech at the assembly, opposition parties’ leader H D Kumaraswamy, former CMs Jagdish Shettar and Yeddyurappa, BSR Congress leader B Sriramulu criticized the newly-formed Congress-led state government.
Kumarswamy further said that there is nothing special in Governor’s speech. It has not specified the stance of the state government related to developments; instead it has highlighted the corruption during the reign of former government, said Kumaraswamy. Meanwhile, he mocked at Congress government that has no moral right to talk about corruption as UPA-led union government is involved in scams, mocked Kumaraswamy.
Jagdish Shettar said that Governor’s speech has no substance. The speech has several programmes that are copied from the last budget which was presented by him, said Shettar.
KJP leader B S Yeddyurappa said that it’s not appropriate to highlight the corruption of the BJP-led former regime as there are plentiful scams by the union government, said Yeddyurappa.

It is strange! Once the opposition says Governor s speech has no substance yet make useless noise; BJP says it is nothing but their own draft/text with some lines dropped and accuses the government/Ggovernor! blaming themselves? JDS sings the same tune as if they are one with BJP and discuss fruitless points. Shame and disgrace to the opposition. They must appreciate the steps taken on Gudka Ban,supporting the growers, rice- election Manifesto and such other steps taken by the Government which are wiser than the ordinary. Be creative and intelligently attack the Government and constructively. Please do not waste House s time and loose your credibility.. |
