Hassan: Sub-Inspector of Goroor Station assaults without Valid Reason

Hassan, 27 Apr 2013: A sub-inspector of suburban Goroor seriously assaulted a person without any valid reason, being reported.
Inayat, a resident of Goroorwas assaulted by sub-inspector Jayaram, police personnel Purushottam and Nagesh, jeep driver Nagaraj.  Inayat had intervened in the quarrel between his friend Ramesh and Paramesh over silly issue the day earlier. 

 

 
Inayat complained that the police arrived in his home and brought him to the station in their jeep and assaulted him brutally after removing his shirt.  His body bears the testimony of police brutality.  He was admitted to Government Hospital here for further treatment. 

 
A case has been registered at the police out-post in hospital premises.

Goroor police sub-inspector was alleged to have assaulted labourers in the past.  The police brutality on common-folks is increasing that has created fear among the people.
