Mangalore: Voters to Determine Destiny of Political Parties in Civic Polls

Mangalore, 07 Mar 2013: The voting for civic polls were begun on schedule in different polling centers across the city on Thursday March 7.
The voters in a few wards arrived early to cast their precious franchise that will determine the preferences of voters and the political party.
The long queues were found in a polling center located at ZP Higher Primary School, Bikarnakatte, here, since 2 Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) have gone out of order.
The elderly voters of Shivabagh ward number 34 here arrived to vote helped by their family members in order to cast votes on Thursday early morning. AICC member P V Mohan, DCC vice president J R Lobo who live in Shivabagh ward number 34 cast their votes on Thursday early morning.
The city cops shifted the pandals of a few political parties that was set up less than 200 meters of polling center in Shivabagh ward number 34, in order to enable free voting without giving scope for coercion.
