Doha: ’Shreya Ghosal live in Qatar’ on October 27

Doha, 23 Oct 2012: Indian playback sensation Shreya Ghosal will perform later this week at Al Ahli Stadium grounds.
The programme ‘Shreya Ghosal live in Qatar’, to be organised jointly by Rami Productions and Doha Waves, with the support of Planet Fashion and Royal Mirage perfumes will be held on October 27.
Gulf Times is the official media for the three-hour show which is scheduled to start at 7.30pm.
The singer is returning to Qatar after five years it is her first concert at an open stadium in Qatar.
Shivaprasad Mallayya, winner of TVS Saregama on Zee TV will also perform at the Doha show. A 15-member orchestra from India will accompany the singers.
The Doha programme is being held as part of a series of shows in the region. She is holding concerts in UAE and Oman also.
She has sung several hit songs in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Assamese and Marathi. There is no award in Indian music that Ghosal has not won, making her one of the most sought after faces in India’s music industry.
The winner of the National award on four occasions in less than a decade, and Filmfare Awards in different languages several times, Ghosal has appeal and acceptance that few others command in the industry.
The organisers expect around 8,000 -8,500 people for the show. They claim an “overwhelming and unprecedented” response to ticket sales so far. The gates at Al Ahli stadium will be open from 5pm onwards.This event will be a remarkable one with the presence of Shreya Ghoshal, the shining star of Bollywood and dazzling singer of Indian Film industry. Along with her Mr. prithvi , Play back singer of many Indian Languages. Other very famous musicians and Dancers from Bollywood Film industry are also participating.
