Udupi District Krishi Utsav on May 19 – 20

Udupi, 04 May 2012: Udupi district Krishi Utsav with Dr. Virendra Hegde as the Hon. President will be conducted on 19th and 20th May 2012 in Nehru Maidan, Palligudde, Katpadi, said Udupi Jilla Panchayath President and Udupi Jilla Krishi Utsav Committee President Katpadi Shankara Poojary. He spoke on this matter on Tuesday in SVS Higher Primary School Hall during the Pre Krishi Utsav meeting.
In this Krishi Utsav which will be led by various organizations including Udupi Jilla Panchayath, Krishi Department, Shri Kshethra Gramabhivradhi Yojane, Jilla Krishika Samaja, Katapadi Rotary Club and more than 10,000 farmers will be participating in the Utsav, said Shankara Poojary.
Udupi District Krishi Utsav Committee Working President Entrepreneur Sathyendra Pai spoke and said that in this Krishi Utsav which will be held for two days will have various conferences related to Agriculture and demonstrations. Specially the domestic animals will be displayed.
Various committees with office bearers were formed for the organizing of the Krishi Utsav. Karnataka Government Finance Committee President A.G. Kodgi was chosen as another Hon. President of Krishi Utsav.
In the meeting Taluk Panchayath President K. Devadas Hebbar, Ashok Kodgi, Shrikshethra Dharmastala Gramabhivradhi Yojane Officer Dayasheela, Udupi APMC President K. Suresh Nayak, katpadi Rotary Club President.
Krishi Utsav Committee meet Dr. D. Virendra Hegde
Udupi, 04 May 2012: The Krishi Utsav Committee met Hon. President of Krishi Utsav Dr. D. Virendra Hegde on Monday and discussed the programs of the Utsav. Dr. Hegde told the Committee assuring his complete support and cooperation.
In the Committee Udupi Jilla Panchayath President and Udupi Jilla Krishi Utsav Committee President Katpadi Shankara Poojary, Working President Entrepreneur Sathyendra Pai, Taluk Panchayath President K. Devadas Hebbar, Krishika Samaja Jilla President Ashok Kodgi, Udupi Krishika Samaja President Subhashit, Secretary Pradip Hebbar, Katpadi Rotary Member Giridhar Shetty and Raghavendra Mattu were present.
