Kunjarugiri: Parashurama the incarnation against injustice

Kunjarugiri, 30 March 2012: Today in our country the corruption and terror is increasing. Thousands of corrupt hands have spread in every field. In the land which was created by Parashurama fighting against the Sea King, today the companies have emerged. The land given by the Rushi is being damaged by the illegally acquiring of the companies. For the preservation of this the people have to be awakened. Everyone should become like Parashurama. He is the first incarnation who fought against injustice, said Shree Pejavara Mutt Senior Yati Shree Vishweshatheertha Swameeji.

 

 

 
He was speaking during his asheervachana in the religious ceremony of the renovated Kunjarugiri Parashurama’s temple’s reinstallation and the religious programs on Wednesday. Pejavara Junior Seer Shree Vishwaprasannatheertha Swameeji spoke and said that from the undivided D.K. district crores of rupees has been paid as tax from the hundreds of temples, but only recently we are getting the grants from the government to the devotional centers, which is not enough, he said.
 

The program was presided over by D.K. District Sahitya Parishad President Kumar Kalkur. Chief guests present were Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon, Karnataka Bank DGM K.G. Ramesh Rao, Gururaghavendra movie director Suresh Bangalore, Producer Raghunandan and Actor Parikshit Bangalore.

 
Subrahmanya Bhat conveyed good wishes. On this occasion the donors were felicitated by Seer. Madhwaraj Bhat in his introductory note briefed on the Kshethra. V.M. Samaga welcomed. Sudhakar Shetty and Mohandas Shetty compeered the program. Krishnaraj Bhat proposed vote of thanks.
