Shirva: Rathotsava in Shri Vishnumurthy Temple

Shirva, 10 March 2012: Historically popular Shirva Shri Vishnumurthy Temple’s annual Rathotsava, Special Utsav, Vyagrhra Chamundi Namotsava were concluded on Thursday. In the morning Kavata inauguration, religious ceremonies, Mahapooje, Brahmana Suhasini worship, Annasantharpane were conducted. Afternoon from 3.00 pm Pakalakunja Shyama Bhat and troup conducted ‘Yakshagana Talamaddale’. Evening Kumari Sujanya Achar, Kumari Meghashree teams presented devotional music.

 

 
Movie actress Tara visited Shree Kshethra and received Prasada. Renovation committee President Nadibettu Nityananda Hegde and Secretary Mattar Ratnakar Hegde conducted introduction of the Shree Kshethra. On this occasion Renovation Committee Hon. President MLA Lalaji R. Mendon, Temple managing Trustee Nadibettu shankara Hegde, Venkatesh Prabhu, Kutti Shetty Shirva, Kutyaru Navin Shetty and Giridhara Prabhu were present.
