Kaup: Actress Tara campaigns for BJP with Road show

Kaup, 09 March 2012: In the Udupi – Chickmagalur lokasabha election the victory will be surely for BJP opinioned movie actress Tara who is on her election campaign for BJP.  Prior to conducting the road show in Kaup town, addressing the party workers she spoke in Kaup constitution BJP office on Thursday. She said ‘I have finished the three days tour of Chickmagalur, there the voters like BJP candidate Sunil Kumar. Having the confidence that our candidate will surely win with majority, I will continue the campaign in Udupi district in Karkala, Kundapura Taluks, she said. On this occasion on behalf of BJP Women the actress Tara was felicitated.

 

 

 
Kaup MLA Lalji R. Mendon, Kaup constituency BJP President Naveen Shetty, leaders Mattaru Ratnakara Hegde, Kollabettu Ravindra Shetty, Arun Shetty Padoor, Vijaya Karkera, BJP Women leaders Sheela K. Shetty, Sulochana Bhat, Reshma Uday Shetty, Shyamala Kunder, Priyanka Sunil Kumar and Indira Lalji Mendon were present on the occasion.

 
Speaking about Tara who came for the BJP campaign, Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon said that, in the earlier elections movie actresses Hemamalini, Shruthi and Saikumar had come with shine for campaigning on behalf of BJP. This time we are fortunate to have National award winning Kannada actress Bhagya with us, he said. Replying to it quickly Tara said, all of them came to BJP and have gone, but I will never leave BJP party, she said.

 
On Thursday evening Tara conducted road show in Kaup town, asking for votes. Kaup MLA Lalaji R. Mendon, Kaup constituency BJP President Naveen Shetty, BJP Women leaders Sheela K. Shetty, Sulochana Bhat, Reshma Uday Shetty, Shyamala Kunder, Priyanka Sunil Kumar and Indira Lalji Mendon were along with her in the road show.
