Shirva, 28 January 2012: Due to lack of patriotism among the citizens, the number of leaders with corruption and bribe is increasing. When the people become alert and grow the patriotism then we can see our country as a great democracy, said Mumbai Billava Mahamandala President and Entrepreneur Jaya C. Suvarna upon hoisting the flag on the 63rd Republic Day celebrations conducted in Padubelle Shri Narayanaguru Group of Education on Thursday
The program was presided over by Management Committee Vice President S.K. Salian Belman. Chief Guests on the occasion were Former Rotary Deputy Governor B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva, Local Committee Vice President Jayashankar and other dignitaries. Administrative officer Jinraj Salian welcomed the guests and the gathering.
Winners of various National Karate competitions Sherol, Carol, Pradyumna, Yogish Patkar and artists Deeksha and Suketh were honoured on the occasion. Student Leaders Radha and Vishwambar compeered the program. Kannada Medium Teacher Usha N. proposed vote of thanks. Students conducted attractive march past.
