Karwar: 18 dogs attack woman, son

Karwar, 28 Jan 2012: In a shocking incidence 18 dogs belonging to one owner attacked a four year old boy in Maaladevi nagar in Karwar on Friday evening.

 

Boy Dhanush Madiwal was seriously injured in the incidence. According to his mother Bharati, she and Dhanush were going to temple and 18 dogs belonging to Marina Fernadis had attacked them. Both of them suffered serious bites. The dogs continued to attack them even after the boy and his mother fell on the ground. Dhanush suffered injuries on chest, face and hips.

 

The people in the neighborhood came out of their houses after hearing the scream and saved the boy. People complained that though they had many time objected to Maria keeping so many dogs she had not cared them they said. Even in the past these dogs had attacked many people in the area but the owner was least bother about their complaint the people alleged.

 

A police complaint was filed by Dhanush’s father against marina and the investigation is on.
