Kaup: Ambit Mini Film Utsav - “Bhagya” Film gets Best Tulu Film Award

Kaup, 24 January 2012: “Bhagya” Tulu movie produced by Unisef- Prasara Vharati award winning team Disha Coomunications on the story of a fisheries woman has won the best Tulu movie award in the Ambit Mini Film Utsav. The film utsav which was conducted in Mangalore Kodiaylbail Canara College Seminar Hall to tal 21 movies in Kannada, Tulu, Malayalam and Hindi languages. In this utsav the movie Bhagya which is based on the real life story of an fisheries woman and completely shot at the coastal areas, has won the best Tulu movie award.

 

 
In the awarding ceremony movie the dignitaries such as director Kasaragod Chinna, Vijayakumar Kodiyal Bail, Abdul Rehaman Pasha, Sayikrishna had participated. In the Ambit movie utsav movie director Abdul Rehaman Pasha was the Chief Judge and movie directors P. Sheshadri and P.S. Vishvananth were the Associate Judges.
 
Bhagya movie which is based on the story of senior drama artist Raju Thonse, was produced by Francis D’Sa and Journalist and Bellevision Reporter Prakash Suvarna Katapadi has written the movie story and has also directed. Sandeep Udupi has done the photography, Ramesh Kidiyoor has done the art direction and Rohit Malpe has directed the music.
 
In the leading roles of the movie Bhagya Prof. Sujatha Shetty Perinje, Journalist Suresh yermal, Leeladhar Shetty Kaup, Sanjeev Salyan Kadekaru, Nagesh Kamath Katapadi, Jalaja Nayak, Harish Heroor, Sanjeeva Suvarna Katapadi, Gangadhar K. Kanchan, Sukanya Bantakal, Shaila Kamath, Kavita Kaup, Gokuldas Kamath, Rajesh Acharya, Santhosh Panjimar, Sudarshan Malpe and others have acted.
