Monthi Fest celebration in Infant Jesus Church Dombivli

Mumbai, 08 September 2011: The feast of the Nativity of Blessed Mary was celebrated with a procession and solemn Feast Mass in the evening of Thursday, September 8, 2011. The celebration began with a procession at 6:30 pm.  complete with decorative umbrellas. Around 400 parishioners took part in the procession around the church.  The procession consisted of Altar Servers, members of the Legion of Mary, Communion Ministry and the parishioners followed by teh statue of Mary.

 

 

Rev. Fr. Simon Lopes, principal of St Joseph School, Vikrholi, Mumbai was the main celebrant of the Feast Mass joined Fr Peter, parish priest and Fr. Jeffery, assistant parish priest. During the offertory, the New Paddy was blessed and was distributed to the parishioners.
