First Inter-school Cricket Tournament organized by St. Aloysius Cricket Academy

Mangalore: Mangalore witnessed a historic moment as the first-ever inter school cricket tournament was successfully organized by St. Aloysius Cricket Academy in association with St Aloysius institutions. The tournament, in collaboration with Decathlon, showcased the immense cricketing talent of young players from various schools in the region.

 

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Rector Melwyn J Pinto, Mahabala Marla, Sadashiv Ullal Puneet Shetty, and Shanti Mohan. Their presence added a touch of prestige and motivation to the young cricketers.

The backbone of the tournament was Santhosh Misquith under whose guidance and planning the entire event was a grand success. Thanks to his perseverance and determination, a strong platform has been created for young players.

 

The tournament saw intense competition among the participating teams, with Canara Urwa and Canara CBSE emerging as the finalists. After a thrilling encounter, Canara CBSE clinched the coveted title, leaving a mark on the history.
