Mangalore: Renowned cultural enthusiast and KNS manager, Boniface Pinto passes away

Mangalore: Boniface Pinto (62), a respected cultural enthusiast and long-serving manager of Don Bosco Hall and Konkani Nataka Sabha (KNS), passed away on Sunday, November 10, following a brief illness.

 

Pinto was well known in Mangaluru, particularly among those associated with KNS and Don Bosco Hall.

Son of Rita Pinto and the late Cyprian Pinto, Boniface was the brother of Jinna, Lona, Diana, and Asha. Throughout his 28 years of dedicated service, Pinto was celebrated for his exceptional organizational skills, punctuality, and courteous nature. His expertise in managing events, stage setting, and maintaining costumes was highly regarded.

 

The mortal remains will be brought to Don Bosco Hall for public viewing at 2:15 pm on Monday, November 11, and then taken to Jeppu Church at 3:30 pm, followed by a funeral mass at 4 pm.
