Special Session with Padma Bhushan Dr. Sivathanu Pillai

Sept 17: On September 15, 2024, the Indian Cultural Center under the Embassy of India organized "Space and Future of Humanity". Renowned Indian Scientist Dr. Padma Bhushan, Founder CEO and MD of Brahmos Aerospace. Sivathanu Pillai conducted the session. The event was held at the ICC premises and was attended by a large number of members of the Indian diaspora, mainly students.

 

In his speech Dr. Pillai elaborated on Space and the Future of Humanity. He spoke about his experiences working with late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India. His motivational speech was well received by all.

Dr. Pillai was felicitated by ICC President Mr. AP Manikanthan. ICC Vice President Shri Subrahmanya Hebbagilu, ICC General Secretary Mohan Kumar, other members of the ICC Management Committee, ICC Advisory Council members and Indian community leaders were present on the occasion.
