Ninety Sixth Annual General Meeting held by Bantar Sangh Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 01: The presidency of Bunts Sangha Mumbai is a big responsibility. I am fortunate to have graced this position with the cooperation of all the members and the blessings of Srideva. On this occasion, I also remember the service of all those who have taken the association till now as founders and presidents. Their services are convincing. I am fortunate to be the leader of the 140-member cabinet. The presidency of Bunts Sangh is like a full-time job. Bunts Sangh Mumbai President Praveen Bhoja Shetty said that the main reason for the association to grow to this level is due to the collaboration of kind donors.

 

The 96th Annual General Meeting of the Bantar Sangh was conducted at Smt. Radhabai Thimmappa Bhandari Sabhagarh of Bantar Bhawan, Kurla East Chunnabhatti in the early morning today. There is an equal role for women and men, and everyone in the committee has a responsibility. Organization can progress only with love and affection. Right from the beginning of taking charge, the support, dedication and immense passion towards Bunts leading us has increased our responsibility. I express my gratitude for the wonderful cooperation of Bunts Team, Executive Committee, Trustees and office staff who are the pillars of the association, who have always been companions. Together, we have shouldered the responsibility and aim to rise even higher in service.

Shetty, Education and Social Welfare Committee Working President Diwakar Shetty Indrali, Powai Education Committee Working President Ratnakara Shetty Mundkur, Central Education Committee Working President BR Shetty, Higher Education Committee Working President Adarsh ??B. Shetty, Borivili Education Committee Working President Ravindra Shetty Karnire were seated on the dais.

Trustees Aikala Harish Shetty (Former President of the Association, President of the Federation of World Bunt’s Associations), Dr. Virar Shankar B. Shetty, Ultur Mohandas Shetty, former presidents Dr. Padmanabha V. Shetty and B. Vivek Shetty were mainly present in the Maha Sabha.

 

Ms. Udaya J. Shetty of Dombivili Regional Committee who registered the maximum membership of the association in Gathasal was awarded the gold medal of the association and cash prize sponsored by Ikala Harish Shetty for the best regional committee of the year. Kalyan-Badlapur Committee (on behalf of Regional Committee Working President Subhod Bhandari) received the plaque among office bearers and members. President honored and congratulated.

 

Annual Day of Education and Literary is given annually by the Sangh under the joint auspices of Bandaravani and Fan Club. YG Shetty Memorial Award to author, teacher Pramoda Surendra Mada, Ramanath S. Payyade Memorial (for SSC and HSC meritorious students) and the | Tejamanjari Shetty Memorial (to meritorious Vidyathis who completed Engineering) was presented with cash prizes in memory of Shankar Shetty. On this occasion, sponsors Uma Krishna Shetty and Lata Jayaram Shetty (former working presidents of women’s division), Membership Campaign Committee Working President Anil S. Shetty, Bantaravani Committee Working President Karnoor Mohan Rai, Govt. Q Editor Ashok was on the platform next to him and congratulated the awardees. Editor Premanatha Shetty Mundkur read out the certificate and congratulated the awardees.

 

Dr RK Shetty presented the last annual general meeting report, extra ordinary general meeting report, annual work activities reports to the meeting and conducted the meeting. CA| Ramesh B. Shetty presented the annual accounts of the previous year. Social Welfare Committee Information by Working Chairman Diwakar Shetty Indrali, Central Education Committee Information by Working Chairman BR Shetty, Powai Education Committee Information by Working Chairman Ratnakara Shetty Mundkur and Secretary Gautham S. Shetty Information, Higher Education Committee Information by Secretary Sagar D. Shetty, Borivili Education Committee Information by Secretary CA| Jagdish B. Shetty Surathkal, Higher and Vocational Education Fund Coordinator Kishore Kumar Kuthyaru were present at the briefing. Sukumar R. Shetty read the list.

 

Ikala Harish Shetty, Dr Virar Shankar Shetty, Dr Sunita M. Shetty, Krishna V. Shetty, CA| Sadashiva B. Shetty, Dr Prabhakar Shetty Bola expressed his feelings and wished the association all the best. The women and youth sections of the Sangh, Bantaravani Balaga, Regional Committees Coordinator Ravindra M. Bhandari (Central Mumbai), Sukumar N. Shetty (East Mumbai), heads of various regional committees, office bearers and members including former office bearers were present.

 

President Praveen Shetty led the office bearers in the Gnana Mandir in the premises of Bantara Bhavan, performed the Puja to the deity Shri Mahavishnu, Mahaganapati Durga Parameshwari and proceeded to the Mahasabha. Later, the Mahasabha was ceremonially opened in the auditorium with the band song and Shailaja Shetty offered a prayer. The president honored the dignitaries who donated to the association with mementos. Girish R. Shetty commemorated the kindness. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.
