Mangalore, 04 Sept: Leaders of political parties should play politics for the future of our children. Instead of political and ideological hatred seen among children today, D.K. said that politics of peace, peace and love should be formed in the future. Former district collector, retired IAS officer and sitting MP Sasikant Senthil has advised.
He spoke while inaugurating the D.K. district level seminar for the commemoration of Saint Mother Teresa at the City Hall on Tuesday, 3 September 2024 under the auspices of Saint Mother Teresa Forum and Harmony Mangalore. Teachers, parents try to make their children competitive by limiting marks. But we have to develop the habit of cooperation in children. He said that building this kind of loving and cooperative society is our tribute to Mother Teresa. Children should know about the values ??of the Constitution. He called for upholding the basic aspiration of the Constitution to celebrate diversity with love, Mother Teresa.
He analysed that she is a mother and not just a human being. Teachers, parents try to raise their children to be competitive, limited by marks. But we have to develop the habit of cooperation in children. He said that building this kind of loving and cooperative society is our tribute to Mother Teresa.
Children should know about the values ??of the constitution. Calling for the fundamental desire of the constitution to celebrate diversity with love, he analysed that Mother Teresa is not just a human being but also a mother. There has been a conflict between two mindsets in the country for a long time. A mindset is to treat everyone as equal, love everyone, treat everyone with brotherhood. Another mentality is to feel inferior. He said that even today the conflict between this charisma and equality continues. Varta Bharati
It is considered as our struggle against the British in the freedom struggle. But according to me, the fight against the British was per cent. It is 30 percent. 70% of the struggle was for equality. Barely dressed in just a dhoti, Gandhi was a symbol of equality. After independence Dr. Equality was given written form under the leadership of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. The constitution was framed with the idea of ??how to make the country equal. Even then many people did not agree with this equality. Still disagree. We fought unitedly against the British and built the country with the hope that we will be together while creating India from independent India. The idea of ??India is a mindset that celebrates difference. There is no other country in the world that celebrates diversity under this beautiful concept except India. We have enshrined practice and equality in our constitution. Without the constitution, there would not have been so much love and equality. Sasikanth Senthil explained that Mother Teresa’s message was to celebrate each other’s differences in this regard. Parishad member BK Hariprasad said that there are a lot of attempts to suppress the wishes of the constitution and there is a systematic conspiracy for the rule of religion in a democratic country.
The constitution is the holy book of the country, now there are 22 languages ??and efforts are underway to add 26 more languages ??including Tulu and Kodava. After religion, came monarchy, then democracy. We should know what opportunities the constitution has given us in these 75 years. Organizations that undermine the faith and courage of the people in the name of Islam and Christianity should be kept away. Social thinker and writer Aisha Farzana expressed her reaction and said that Mother Teresa’s sacrifice has given a great message to the whole world. Just like Buddha left his palace and gave a message of peace to the world in times of crisis, Mother Teresa came to India and took care of the downtrodden Dalits and the sick. By doing, they have shown a life of friendship and compassion. Jesus is said to be the Yathavat form of Buddha. Farzana explained the important aspects of Teresa’s life as Mother Teresa who lived the teachings of Jesus.
President of the Saint Mother Teresa Forum, Roy Castellino, presided over and said that the scriptures we believe in should be confined to our home and followed, but when we go outside the home, the wishes of the constitution should be our life.
