Bantwala: In order to facilitate the movement of public from Polali to Addur, free bus system was made by Bantwala MLA Rajesh Naik on a personal basis and the bus service was started in Polali this morning.
Rajesh Naik Ulipadi drove the mini bus in front of Polali temple this morning in the presence of priests and public.
The District Collector of Dakshina Kannada had issued an order to close the Addur bridge across Polali Palguni river. But there are more people who rely on this route to go to their daily work. MLA Rajesh Naik has made a system of free vehicles for the benefit of people in the background of ongoing repair work.
For the benefit of the devotees of Polali Sri Devi and the people of the village, the system of free vehicles will also benefit the people until the bridge from Polali to Addur is repaired. A few days ago, the public was confused because there was no information about banning the traffic of solid vehicles due to the crack in the bridge built across the Addur Polali Palguni river. Finally, the district collector, experts and legislators worked to clear this confusion.
Speaking about this, Chandrasekhar Shetty realized the hardship of the people of Polali area and Bantwala MLA Rajesh Naik bought a mini bus system. He has given the bus to be used for public transportation. It is only from Addur to Polal. This will be beneficial for those going to work, students and devotees coming to Polal. When we talked about this on the morning of August 22, he told us that he would happily respond to the people’s hardships, and he also said that he immediately bought a bus and made it available to the people.
